Over Thanksgiving at the studio this chicken made a run for it! This is the third thing I’ve made in Blender, and this time around I gained a strong appreciation for the knife tool. Not only did it let me carve out individual toes, but it also was a great way to set up additional vertices for shaping the head. I also learned that you can link your materials across objects, which is not only an easy way to ‘paste’ colors but also reduces duplicate material files on the Unreal import. I put this goofy chicken in as a placeholder object for this Maze Runner game I’m working on in Unreal.
